His favorite event is called GORUCK which is hosted by an organization that connects U.S. Military Personnel with civilians. GORUCK events are patterned after Special Forces training protocols and they involve 12 and 24 hour "missions" which include up to 25 mile courses with a weighted backpack (ruck) and the movement of heavy items such as logs or telephone poles... sometimes weighing over 1,000 pounds... all in the name of building teamwork and learning we are all capable of accomplishing much more than we think we can.
These events are led by off-duty or retired Special Forces members such as Green Beret's, Army Rangers or Navy Seals. Ted considers participating in these events an honor and the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to spend time with these American heroes... There is no better way to develop the habit of never giving up until a challenge has been overcome, no matter what. Or as our great country's brave Special Forces personnel would say... DFQ!.
